Goa is a small state of India's west coast. It is known for beautiful weather, tropical beaches, and laid-pack party lifestyle.I went there for 4 days. The trip was by night train for a dozen of hours. I was staying in a resort near Baga Beach, which you can see under.
One day I went to a market nearby, still very traditional.
Each floor had a different kind of goods to sell.
The first floor ( the biggest one) was dedicated to exotic fruits and vegetables.
During the stay I visited a Spice Garden where hundreds of indian spices were grown.
Around the garden, a wild forest has been maintained.
This area is called a "colmbi" and is usually a rock cut into a basin shape. Here cashew apples are stomped to release the juice, and in the end make feni. Feni is a spirit produced in Goa only.
I also saw beautiful beaches (anjuna, vagator), at a lighthouse (fort Aguada), and visited temples and churches in Panjim.
